Investment Officer is searching for a financially and economically literate editor to join their Global team. What will you do?
As a writing editor for the Global team at Investment Officer, you will be responsible for crafting articles for all our content platforms, covering international developments in asset management, sustainability, legislation, and financial markets. This is a new role within our team, created to support our international growth ambitions. You will work closely with our editors in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, who cover the investment industry in the Benelux region. Additionally, you will oversee a small team of freelance editors, who will produce content when you are unable to cover it yourself. You will also maintain close contact with our knowledge partners and columnists, who contribute to our content platforms. Another responsibility will be producing our monthly podcast, "Portfolio Update," and managing our social media channels.

- A salary of up to €4,500 gross per month for 36 hours per week (full-time), depending on your experience (according to the Collective Labor Agreement for the Publishing Industry, function group "Vaktijdschriftjournalisten," function level D).
- A contract for 32 - 36 hours per week (36 hours constitute full-time).
- Personal choice budget (PKB) and a bonus scheme.

Who are you?
- You are entrepreneurial and driven by journalism, with a strong curiosity for the international investment sector.
- Experience in the financial sector and/or investment is not a strict requirement but is considered an advantage.
- You are full of great ideas and can turn them into journalistic content that resonates with professional investors.
- You enjoy working independently and being at the forefront of something new.
- This role involves coordinating the editorial work of the GLOBAL team alongside freelancers, so you must have good organizational and communication skills.
- You can create podcasts or are willing to learn, and you have a good sense of social media
About the Workplace:
Our office is located in Utrecht, on Burgemeester Reigerstraat, a charming street with unique shops and eateries, close to the city center and right next to Wilhelminapark. Currently, we work from the office on some days and partly from home.

With over 15,000 professionals accessing our website, app, email newsletters, podcasts, print productions, webinars, and events, we provide unique content developed by a team of specialized journalists. Investment Officer is part of the FD Mediagroep and falls under the business-to-business media organization FD Business. In the coming years, we plan to expand Investment Officer's activities across Europe. The goal is to launch in several countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain, starting in 2024.
